Default video card problem

Hey, Im having a weird problem with my computer, whenever I turn it on and it gets to the dispaly screen I have lines going up and down my screen. Their moslty green but also other colors. I downloaded 5.10 driver for ati b/c I thought 5.11 might have done it. Well it did go away but is that my problem or did I get lucky? I have a 9500 pro ati, thanks

No the card has not been overclocked, I took out the video card and noticed that if I pushed the fan it had a hard tim moving so I blew air into it and it seemed to flow better. Maybe that was the problem b/c now my computer is running fine. Can I upgrade the fan on the video card? or is it not worth it. Thanks for your response

yeah, if you google "NV Silencer" you can find heatsinks albeit very large ones that will fit on a 9500 Pro.

not if you regularly clean your computer with a can of compressed air.
