video card not working???
ok so i just got my new computer running, and it runs fine with everything except what i want it to. gaming. the graphics card wont work for some reason, even though the monitor is plugged into it. there is no monitor port for my motherboard, the video card is the only one. but when i go to the device manager in windows vista, it says the only graphics is something called "standard vga graphics adapter" i dont know what this is, thats all it says. and the video card i have is an evga 9800 gt superclocked edition. the disk the card came with also says unzip error or something like that. im not sure why. i installed everything on it i think, but i dont know really. and yes ive looked on the BIOS, theres literally nothing that says much about graphics. my motherboard is an asus P5Q-e.
