Video Card Help

Hi i have a Geforce Fx 2 pretty old card lol but it came with my gateway and the gateway's power supply burned up and i put the video card in my other computer. which i just got a new power supply for my gateway and i tried putting the video card back in but nothing shows up on my moniter does any1 know wat i can do?

Are you sure the motherboard is still good? Maybe when the PS went out it took the motherboard with it. If you have another video card try putting it in and see what happens

But would my harddrive and stuff still boot up if the mother board was bad?

They could still power up but the screen could be blank if the MB is bad. When you have a bad MB, RAM or CPU the computer can power up but you wont see anything on the screen.
