Default video card???

I got a question, will a video card with gddr2 memory work with a computer with ddr ram?

will this video card: Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H260PRF512DDN-R Radeon HD 2600PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - Retail
work with this computer: Buy Compaq Presario SR1900NX Media Center PC(EX304AA#ABA), Desktop PCs, Computers direct from the HP Home & Home Office Store

yes. the important thing is the card interface...agp or pci-x. Video card memory is totally seperate

missed the 2nd part. Yes that compaq has a free pci express x16 slot and so that video card will work

I can't find anything listing the power requirements. It would be wise to check that out before you buy, as you might need a new PSU.

Yes as Trotter has stated, you need to check to see if you have the power requirements for that VGA.
