I just put together a new pc a few weeks ago , pretty much all of my parts were practically plug and play. I pruchased a 512mb video card at fry's, the xfx 8400 GS. Now w/e I play some specific games (Guild Wars/Generals) they will freeze my entire pc, it will lock up so I can't even use the task manager. Now, what im wondering is if it might be a overheating problem. I read up on newegg that this card gets quite hot at times, so I went ahead and installed a pci slot fan. I checked the temp of the card and it said it was at 41 degrees celsius. now, I have never really known a lot about computers, but what im wondering is if that may be the problem, because I honestly have no clue if that temperature is to high for a video card.
