Ive been trying to fix a problem for someone I built a PC for.
I used to use a USB to serial adaptor to connect to the Vinyl Cutter he had.
When he tried to do something very large the cutter would get "confused" and go in the wrong places.
He phones up the Manufacturer and was told that the problem was the USB to serial adaptor and that he should get a Serial PCI card.
So I got him one of these, Fitted it, Installed the drivers, and set it to COM1(The software for the cutter can only use COM1+2)
However when I try and use it with this I get nothing, It doesnt even attempt to print. All setting are the same as they were for the USB serial adaptor.
Any Advice?
