Very Odd Problem - New Computer

Hey there everyone!

I just bought a new computer and I ordered a graphics card seperatly.
One day, I truly can't remember why, I tilted my computer from the standing position to laying flat. Then, my computer froze, I couldn't even use my mouse so, I rebooted and now, when it's standing up straight, like a normal computer, it won't boot past the Windows XP loading bar.
The computer will boot normally laying down flat and I can not understand what's going on here!

Any help would be much appreciated!

My system is as follows:
AMD Dual Core 2.8ghz
4670 1GB
Generic IDE hard drive
450 watt PSU
2gb PC2 6400

might have something on the back of your motherboard, as a screw, and when you tilt it up, the screw is touching your motherboard.

is there a simple way to find out if there is?
what else could cause something similar?

Oh, I just restarted it standing up and it compltely booted up to the desktop and then froze again...
