Default Very confusing [Don't know what to call the title]

I have a Samsung S20B300N (20 Inch LED) monitor connected to my PS3 via a HDMI to DVI Cable/Converter. My monitor doesn't have any built in speakers, so you see the problem is I can play PS3 without hearing the sound. I have been looking around Amazon and I have seen some cheap USB speakers.

Example of USB speakers:

If I do purchase it, since it is a USB speaker, I don't know where to place the USB. My monitor doesn't have a USB port, however the PS3 does. So do I place it to the PS3 USB port. If the USB speakers aren't compatible then, can you link me to a compatible speaker?

Unimportant info:
New to the forum.
If I have placed
this thread to the wrong section, this is because in the gaming sector of the forum, I think the people aren't that knowledgeable, in comparison to this sector of the forum.
