verifying dmi pool data

i have a emachine e1161-03 im getting a verifying dmi pool data i reinstalled windows twice i pulled out memory 1 by 1 and still getting it. any other ideas? thanks

Could be a number of things, but I'd start by checking that you're trying to boot off the correct HDD (if you have more than one installed), and that you don't have any USB drives plugged in when you're trying to boot.

I'm unsure of your problem. Normal startup procedure is to verify dmi pool data...is it hanging at this operation?

Could be your HDD kicking the bucket.
