My friend's PC made a strange noise then psu went. We replaced his with my old one, btu all we get is"verifying dmi pool data... update sucess" then "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER". No hard drive,cd rom is being detected in the BIOS. We noticed that the AMPs on my old PSU is 2.4 while AMPs on my busted friend's PSU is 4.5. Could that be what's preventing PC from booting? or is it the motherboard?
I don't think it's the HD as we replaced and used different ones but got the same result?
