Default Using speakers with a non usb headset

I just purchased a NON usb headset. I had a usb headset yesterday and was able to run speakers and the headset at the same time. The headset was just used for ventrilo and the speakers for everything else. So my question is how (if even possible) can I get my speakers to work with a non usb headset. When a plug in the headset the speakers turn off and the headset turns on. Any idea?

Whoops i may have put this in the wrong spot sry! I cant delete it either can someone do that for me?
