Default USB portable HD and annoying screens

I have got external portable hard disk Toshiba 40 GB with two partitions , when I plugged it into USB port, always I am receiving these annoying screens.

i seem to remember somewhere where you can say do not autorun disks etc, but that means nothing will autorun. i have no idea where the setting is. this post needs moving to the windows section of the forums, and am i sure warez monster will know exactly what to do.

right click on the disk in question. click properties and then go to the autoplay tab

scroll down, and select "Take No Action"
or "Open Folder to View Files"

once that option is selected, it should open up a folder for that drive.
it should work everytime.

Recently I formatted the PC, the same thing happened, I tried to follow the same instruction :
Right click on the disk -->properties-->autoplay tab-->"Take no action" and uncheck "Prompt me each time to choose an action".

But still I have to repaet that each time I plug HD!!!!
