usb input help

i bought a new mobo and it has usb 2 and my old one has usb 1, the wires on the tower are usb 1 (idk if it matters), can i hook up my old usb plugs to the new mobo or do i have to get new ones?

no worries... it's plug and play (no pun intended) your OS should see them and update as needed, if at all. 2.0 is the USB standard now-a-days.
