USB Flash Drive recovery?

I was backing up some of my files from my computer to my flash drive. I was not copying and pasting but rather cutting and pasting. My computer crashed. Now I don't know if I have lost any data or not; I may have or maybe I might not have.

Do you think I lost my data? if so, is there anyway to recover it? Thanks.

Just connect you hard drive to another healthy system as a slave and see if the drive is recognized.

If yes, then you can try Data Recovery Software to retrieve your lost files. If the drive is not recognized then, it has experienced some mechanical fault and you need to contact data recovery services for data recovery help.

If you are coming up to a blue screen error load in your windows CD and go to recovery console and do a chkdsk -r will run for a while but might make it so you can boot into windows to backup data.
