USB cables types

I purchased EPSON stylus CX5000 printer. It connects to PC via the USB cord, which does not come with the printer. I have a Canon digital camera that has the cord, yet it's a good deal smaller than the USB port on the printer. I thought there is only one type of USB cord, what is going wrong for me?

The end that plugs into your PC is the same on all USB cords, but the other end of it changes depending on device you connect it to. Reason was so they could make smaller plug ins for smaller electronics.

So no worries, just head down to your local electronics store and pick up a USB printer cable.

lol, i didnt feel like going thru the whole thing, but you get the idea. maybe later, i mean i did spend like lit3raly 30seconds making that picture, googled, opened paint, put the leters, saved it, put the file for upload, and posted.
