OK Here's my problem, I was using Syamntec Ghost to Ghost four machines when the ghostcast session crashed. I decided to build the machines the old fashioned way and use the XP CD. Now I can't get any of the machines to boot from the CD or the Hard drive. The message I'm getting is a disk read error occured press CTRL-ALT-DEL to reboot. this is when I boot from a CD or the Hard disk, the CD appears to be reading.

reset your CMOS back to deafult. also make sure you delete the existing partition once you get in the windows setup.

Yeah it sounds like the HD is the first boot device and since there isn't an OS on there it gives you the error. Resetting the CMOS or going into setup and changing the boot order may fix the problem.
