Default upgrading a processor on a dell xps 600

i want to get the new 955 core processors..how easy is it to install a new processor?

the new 955 core processors dual core extreme..faster then the 4800 dual core in games

I think that the new 65nm 955/975 Pentium D's require a supporting chipset, the 955x or 975x. If your motherboard as one of these (2) chipsets you're all set. Well, you'll also need over a Grand to spend.

The XPS 600 has the Nforce 4 Intel Edition Chipset though doesn't it?
