well i bought new graphics and mother board ok well i want to play gta 4 will it play heres the specs:


processor:gta 4 wants 2.4ghz nvidia 6600 or better i have a x1650 ati athlon 3200+ apparantly thats 2.8 or somet
you know the graphics as above it wants 512 mb ram i have 1 and a half gb of ram thats i.

Um, we'd need more information than that.

What is your operating system? CPU? Board model? Power Supply Wattage/Model? Hard Drive space?

Just ram and video card are not alone a deciding factor.

GTA is a very graphics intensive program and your CPU is more of a bottleneck. Lower your resolution and see how well it works. You won't be able to run everything on HIGH so sacrifices have to be made

can someone tell me if my uncle is right is amd athlon 3200 64 bit can play games that have 3ghz is it graphics that make games jerk or cpu

Your not going to play GTA IV on a single core and expect halfway decent FPS, simple as that. You need a quad core to really play it smoothly.
