Default Updating BIOS, resets everything?

When you update the BIOS/flash it does it reset everything? Hehe, maybe ill just use my replacement plan in like a year from now at CompUSA to get a mobo that will support the latest everthing instead of flashing the bios

flashing your bios resets everything in the bios. its not real biggie. CompUSA, you still have them by you? in new york they all went out of business, might want to cash in on that replacement sooner then later lol.

When you reset the BIOS, it resets it to the factory defaults.

When you flash the BIOS, it changes the firmware on the chip.
