Default Unknown issue with computer?!

Hello.
Let's get in to the question
2 days ago i shut down my computer and went to sleep. The next day i tried to boot it up , it booted up successfully, but the monitor wasnt displaying anything.
So i tried a diffrent monitor wich works for a diffrent computer and it still didn't work.
What seems to be the problem?

Thanks in advance !
Carl

Video card could be shot or output modes are switched.
Do you hear any sounds upon booting? (ie the Windows login noise)

No sound whatsoever
Also when i used to play with that computer. Sometimes it would shut down itself while playing, i think it was cause of overheating.

For starters what is the model of your computer by chance ?
We need some more hardware info so we can diagnose the problem better.
When you power on your computer, does your keyboard light up 3 times while posting up ?

Hmm lets try this, remove the video card first, if you have onboard plug the vga cord into that.
If it just so happens to flicker on and go to windows, your graphic card is the main issue.
If not, it could be the cpu is getting too hot, meaning it hasn't had any change of cpu grease or a mobo issue.

Look at the mobo, it should have a small white label with your serial number on it near the parallel port.
If you can get and bring it here I'll see what you got.

Lastly is this a custom built computer or name brand one ?

it is a brand one.
if i looked the right one the serial is : D946GZIS
i took my graphic card out , plugged the VGA cord in and it worked. So it seems that my graphic card is broken?
