UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION - Win 10

I would suggest not doing that on the same PC then ;). Deep Scan is a pretty intensive process in itself. Plus...if you're trying to recover something...why are you actively using the PC while attempting the recovery?

Because I'm bored and got nothing else to do :p

What does the error mean anyway? Can it be solved by upgrading parts?

Honestly not much info out there about it besides this from the Win10 SDK:

UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION (0x154)
The store component caught an unexpected exception.

PARAMETERS
1 - Pointer to the store context or data manager
2 - Exception information
3 - Reserved
4 - Reserved

Did you check your Event Viewer for a more in-depth log of the crash?

well, I got a lot of 'The device, \Device\Harddisk1\DR1, has a bad block.' when I was trying to recover from by broken hdd.

Could possibly be that Recuva was hitting the bad blocks during the deep scan then and for some reason the store exception was popping.
