Uh how much trouble am I in?

Well a few days ago my hardrive crashed, but idc about that because i got a new one, but while i was taking it out a thing fell off the motherboard somwhere...i beleive it's called a condenser. I'm wondering how much trouble i am insince it fell out thanks. OH and it silver and gray and says 6P

i doubt its a condenser....it's probably a capacitor.....and that could either be catastrophic or it might not matter that much....have you tried running the computer since it happened?....it's probably going to mean the end of some hardware function whether it be sound or loss of a PCI slot......

You can solder it back on. Most likely won't supply proper power to a device which could harm the device that needed that capacitor. Better to fix the problem than to let it go.

Depends on if the capacitor is good or not, and how good at replacing those sorta things... It get can tricky sometimes...

That will be the key. Find a picture of your MOBO to use as a guide, then try and solder it back on.
