Default TV Tuner Card

i recently brought a tv tuner card. I installed it properly and it comes up as working properly. I am using windows vista and installed the proper drivers for vista of the manufacturers website.

The program that came with the card does not work on vista and there are no downloads avaliable.

I tried to set it up in windows media centre but when i scan for channels, it does not pick up anything. I downloaded a trial version of another program but it does not pick up anything either.

Am I doing anything wrong? can someone help me get it working? Thanks.

Are you doing something wrong? Yeah, running Vista (ducking)...

Seriously... I think you answered your own question when you said, "The program that came with the card does not work on vista and there are no downloads available."

Contact the manufacturer. Ask them what you need to use to run on Vista.

Windows media centre is designed to use tv tuner cards.

Do you know why it isnt picking up any stations?

lol again you said it yourself the program doesnt work with media centre so im guessing that it is not in the compatibility list not every tuner card works with windows look up which cards do and you might find you bought one which doesnt.

Did you connect the card to your TV Coax cable?
Does that card have an internal antenna to pick up broadcast stations?

What card are you using?
