Default trying to save a corrupted harddrive

this is what happened.
i have this 200gb hardrive i like to try to save if possible.
how it got corrupted? well i was formatting it and the lights went out in the
middle of it.
ever since that it kept giving problems.
is not a sata harddrive is there anyway i can save it, to use as storage would be great.
all help is greatly appreciated.

RMA it if you can. seagate offers a extensive warranty period.

I'm sorry i don't know what RMA means,and is an old hardrive from my old system i dont have guaranty for it anymore.
