Trying to run world of warcraft

When I install wow the login in screen comes up and then the mouse shoots up to the top of the the log in screen, the monitor flickers from green to orange and everything stops working any idea what that is and how to fix it? Any help would be awesome, thanks everyone!

I would first try reinstalling your video card drivers. What graphics card do you have?
