Trouble with connecting PC to TV.

I have a LG 42LD750 TV, I am connecting my PC with this cabel
High Grade DVI - HDMI kabel - Med lyd - 5 m
Picture is just fine, no trouble there at all, but I had no sound... After having used the wonderful google and looking at other similar problems I've tried several things. I then noticed the RGB/DVI sound input on the back of the TV, I was using HMDI port 3 and the white/red for audio. After switching to and using the RGB/DVI sound input I now have sound on \o/ ... but if I select the HMDI port, I get picture and no sound. It's like I cannot have both at the same time.
Any surgestions to what I can do about it? I only post because I've stared myself blind at numerous posts and becoming slightly frustrated.

you may need to change the sound output on the computer. It might be that the sound is set to exit through your Aux-outputs

Do you have a setup on your tv similar to this? I think you need to connect that audio cable, HDMI side, to RGB in. As seen on the top.
