I've assesed the situation, and came up with something that might work...

remove the video card...

and set the onboard to primary (default settings)...
(boot it like this to make sure everything works right)

then reinstall the card *keep it as the secondary, and boot it up(or at least try)

then in the settings tab... enable the secondary monitor, then switch the primary and secondary...

see if that works,,

pci video card and not common at all and u pay more since it is almost instinct. and Juice daddy u got same video card as me and two get it to 2 monitors what did u exactly do. because there is one monitor port in the back and one hdtv

so you got the evga 6600gt?

it came with an svideo vga converter thing...

the cord on the far right...

what I did, was plug my vga into the monitor, and then used that cord to plug the yellow cord into my into my tv's video input(swiched it to line), then (if everythings pluged in) start the computer and it will detect another monitor ie: tv

you can also do this with a monitor useing different connections
keep in mind that this is all running off of on one card

btw, as I learned a while back, you can only use two of those connections at a time (i tried to plug in three monitors to the 6600gt, but one wouldn't work)
