Default Trasfering partitions

I have a SATA seagate hard drive that is going bad. I am going to buy a new one for a replacement. How can I copy the partition from my old hard drive onto my new hard drive?

I want to just transfer partition from the old one to the new one (OS and everything)

there is programs that can clone hds like that,, google in hd cloning or somethin,, ive used one before but i cant remember its name

You can use norton Ghost.
