I have a Toshiba netbook NB305. I've had it for well over a year. Was used for internet, vlc player, and itunes. It ran just fine, never had a problem with it. Ran very smooth for what it was being used for. My sister started using it a lot and a day after she downloaded or updated a java update, the netbook was painfully slow. There was nothing of importance on it so I decided to just reinstall windows. That didn't help, it was still as slow as before I reinstalled windows.
All the information my sister gave me was that one day it was running smooth and then she had the java update and the next day it went to being painfully slow.
I don't get any blue screens or computer freezes. It's just slow.
