Default think my harddrive is dieing...

My harddrive was making a churning noise and my system would lock up. it would be ok after a restart., but any time i tried to explain it i could never get anyone to understand what i was talking about, it was either i dont know or get a new harddrive. i finally got it recorded, if anyone can check it out, i would apprecitate it.

does not sound good at all.. i no it may sound stupid but we had a old 3gb hard drive (a long time ago now) that was perfectly fine but it sometimes made those noises and hung until restart and also made them during a defrag and the format was fat32. after a reinstall and format to ntfs it was fine but try checking the hard drive with a scandisk (thorough) or chkdsk at boot
