Default Thermal compound on CPU pins

i was pulling my CPU off when i accidentally got thermal compund on the side of a couple pins how should i remove it or will it be fine the board is currently in the process of an RMA so what should i do to clean the pins or will it be fine?

any help will be appreciated

you can't leave it there because it can conduct electricity. try a desoldering syringe to suck it up.

That's only stuff like AS5 or similar that have silver in it,The cheap white stuff shouldn't hurt it but just to be safe i would clean the crap out of it anyway's
