Default Is this temp safe for my CPU?

I just recently built a new rig and installed an AMD FX8350. I love it! Especially as an upgrade from my X2 6000+.

According to CoreTemp, my temps are at idle about 15C and under full load 55C. I do a lot of 3D rendering and had a render going for 9 hours last night at a solid 55C.

The max for this chip is about 62C. Is this ok to run my chip at a constant 55C for 9 hours straight? I only have one single fan installed and plan to get more, but will that really take down the temperature a whole lot?

Im just worried Im slowly cooking my CPU even though its under recommended temps.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

That's definitely within reason. The only time I'd worry is if you were hitting like 75+ C.
