ok so i have a fairly new , less than 1yr old , 250gb WD HD and a 74gb raptor sata.
Last few weeks i've been trying to download a game and allm y downloads goto my 250gb backup....and my system kept freezing. i thought it was the bit torrent downloader, so i used another program, same thing. Finally i got the file, tried to extract it and it FROZE half way thru everytime. so i deleted file and gave up. Well since yesterday i got a different game, a 3.1gb download and saved to my windows drive (raptor). all went jsut fine...installed it and nothing happened. i just tried to copy the ISO file to my backup and within 30seconds, everything froze.
I assume my HD is going bad, is there any kind of scan to determine and/or fix ?
