Suggest about printer solution

Hello,
I am using a lenovo laptop. Issue is that it doesn't have the 25 pin port where i can connect my HP DeskJet 640C printer. As nowadays USB Port enabled gadgets/systems are manufactured.
If at all i decide to go for a new printer (for homely use) then what should be the best exchange or deal or way out, such that my 640C printer doesn't get wasted.

Alternatively, you could network your current printer by buying a small print server box. I have an edimax unit, its about the size of a large box of matches, costs about £20-£25 (although an equivalent model might be cheaper where you live) and has worked great for me. As an added bonus, it would mean that your printer does not have to be plugged into the laptop each time you need to use it.
