Another point to make, speakers manufactured for use with computers are magnecitally shielded, usually.

Chris is correct. I would attempt to back up that hard disk data that is critical and run chkdsk form the prompt in safe mode. I'll bet you'll find a number of bad clusters on those hd"s.
