Stuff not showing in My Computer

Hi

All of a sudden various USB devices are not showing in My Computer.
I've been having a few problems with crashes recently and have run all kinds of tests - virus, drive tests.

USB devices are showing in the notification area as an option to safely remove but not in explorer or anywhere else.

Any help appreciated.

What exactly are the usb devices?

Nokia phone - which works fine when I open up the application.
Cowon iAudio MP3 player which always shows up as an removable drive (both here at home and at work).
2gb USB memory stick

Used Tweak UI to activate visible drives.
