Strange problem with my hard drives.

I have just reinstalled windows and I have 3 drives. For some reason windows seems to think they are removable drives or something. Here is a picture for explanation. I have never seen this before and want it to go away. If anyone knows why its doing this please help me out.

Are they internal or external? Are the jumpers set properly? Try updating Windows to SP2, see if that works.

They are internal and Im running xp pro so I have sp2. The connections are good there sata. Its like the computer thinks there flash drives.

Is it hurting something? Remember that SATA drives are hot-swappable, and that might have something to do with it.

BTW, XP-Pro didn't have SP2 before SP2 came out.

sweet i didn't didn't know SATA are swappable when the computer is on....learn something new everyday
