Default Strange driver problem

Hi, I just installed the latest drivers for my Radeon 3850. However, it's not working and strangely it says in device manager that all I've installed is a 'Standard VGA graphics adapter'. It usually says 'Radeon 3850 driver', or something. I've tried restarting the computer like I was prompted after installing it but it still doesn't work. I'm perplexed, anybody know anything about/how to fix this problem?

Where did you get the drivers? What version are you using?
