You ran it in Read-Only mode again..

When running it, you need to specify the /f and /r flags. The command should look as such:
chkdsk c: /f /r

And you have a lot of space in Bad Sectors, IMO... It's about 4 times as big as it was from the last log you posted..

What brand is your HDD? I would look into running the manufacturer's diagnostic utility (e.g. SeaTools for SeaGate) to see if your drive is dying..

I belive its a WD.

And, Oh.....what do i replace /F/R with? I have Crystaldiskinfo up, and it says the drive is 191 days old? its had 4601 hours or power on hours

*EDIT*

C:\Users\Tom>chkdsk /f
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N) y

This volume will be checked the next time the system restarts.

Is that better? lol

I've posted the command 3 times now...
chkdsk c: /f /r

Notice there are 2 flags there: /f and /r Use BOTH of them. You don't replace /f or /r with ANYTHING. Type the command exactly as I did above...

And the chkdsk didn't run yet, you have to reboot for it to take effect now.

Since your drive is WD, install and run this AFTER the chkdsk has run.
WD Support / Downloads / SATA & SAS / WD Green / GP

Click the Download button, and extract the installer from the Zip. Install it and run one of the tests (long test is preferable, but short test can be done first to see if it finds anything right away).

Yes, they should replace it as long as the drive is under warranty. When I've warrantied drives through SeaGate, I don't believe they required a receipt. Just be sure to backup any data that you want to keep.

I also just noticed you edited your post with the 2nd chkdsk log. 50c is getting a bit high for a CPU... Do you have ample airflow in your case and your room? Have you cleaned out the dust from the computer / fans?

Yeah i cleaned it yesterday, case is fitted with fans all around.

I may have to fiddle with the fans, and take my cpu cooler off.

Be back later, gonna run this chkdsk

If you take the cooler off, be sure to clean the old thermal compound off of the heatsink properly, and re-apply new compound.

Looks like the hard drive is going out on you, a few bad sectors turn into more bad sectors and then you can't boot up windows, These things get worse and they can get worse very fast sometimes too.
Back up your data immediately and use the software from Western Digital that was posted. You probably will get an error code that the software will give you concerning the health status of that drive. You need this error code in order to get an RMA from Western Digital.

AFAIK, you don't have to do that. I sent in several WD drives for RMA over the years and never had to give a error code.
