Hi
I boot up my machine and everything seems to come on. Processer (well the fan :P), graphics and harddrive can all be heard doing there stuff. However when it turns on there are no beeps from the machine and the monistor wont come off standby. Ive checked everything is in place properly.. any ideas whats wrong?

Thanks
Bowers

Hello,

Most likely a program / process running before you put Windows XP into standby is causing the monitor to not turn on when you resume Windows XP.

Check out this article: The display may not turn on when you wake the computer from hibernation or from standby in Windows XP

So, troubleshooting. Try closing all programs before going into standby, then resume Windows XP. Does the problem still occur?
