Hey all,

For a while now I've had this problem where my speakers make this clicking/popping noise with lots of echo/reverb that is really annoying. For some odd reason, it only starts when I start playing World of Warcraft. I can't seem to find anyone else with the same problem that I have and it's really frustrating. I thought it was my old 40 dollar surround speakers from Wal-mart at first, but I bought Z-5300 Logitech speakers and I hear the same thing. When I'm playing the game and I turn all the sound off in the game itself I can still hear this noise. The sound card I'm using is a Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS. Can anyone help??

Try going into your directX menu and under sound tab lower the hardware sound acclereration level.

To get to the directX menu, Go to start > run > dxdiag

That fixed it up quite nicely, thanks :D

I'm surprised that something as simple as that fixed such an annoying problem. What does the "Hardware Acceleration" setting technically do?
