Sparkles on my LCD

Hello, have a Viewsonic VA912B LCD, been working fine, but noticing small sparkles all over the screen, hundreds of them, turning green, red, disappearing...

Any advice to fix?

when do you see these? at the desktop, watching a movie, playing a game or all the time? it sounds like a dodgy monitor but i'll reserve judgement until you can tell me when it happens.

eh, with a monitor, its typically going to be dead pixels, which don't typically change color at all (hence a dead pixel)

I'd say make sure your using the most recent drivers. If after updating drivers your still having the same issue, try using the monitor with a different computer. If you're still having the same issue on another computer your know it's an issue with the monitor, if you don't then it's the signal, and an issue with either the display hardware or the drivers.

Thanks for the responses. Mostly happens on the desktop, not in games or other apps.

Will try to look at my connections, I already updated the graphics card and monitor drivers.
