soundblaster audigy se problems

i recently have aquired a audigy se for the eax hd capabilities


however i am having problems it wont play any sound except for the opening to windows the dododo theme no game sound no ventrillo sound nothing.

i disabled ac97 my mobo sound and ive even tried changing the irq assignment any suggestions because my patience is wearing thin

i think i had the same problem...
sounds like driver problem, i seem to notice thatr it usually is with the audigy cards.
fully un-install drivers, then re insatll.
if that doesn't work, uninstall drivers, move card to different pci slot, then install drivers.
look for newer drivers than what are on your installation cd.
if none of that works you may have a bad card.
