Sound provlem.

Hey,

Well, I just switched the PCI slot that my sound card (Creative X-Fi Extreme Sound) was in as it was interfering with my video card fan. When i changed it, there wasnt sound or anything so I tried reinstalling the sound card drivers. I have sound and my mic works and all except I hear everything from my mic in my headset. When I click the mute box under the microphone I don't hear anything anymore but neither does anyone on TS or Vent. This happened to me before but I forgot how I fixed it. Any suggestions?

Go to Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices -> Audio Tab. Click on the Volume button under sound recording and turn the "What U Hear" volume level all the way down.

wait nvm, had to check "turn monitoring off" or something like that.

Okay it might be a little different from my X-Fi card then. Could have possibly changed the drivers.
