Sound Prob

I use to have sound, not sure what happened. Made sure I had the drivers, made sure sound was turned on in the bios, no conflicts.
Does anyone have any ideas...

Yeah it could be the sound card, try using another sound card. If its integrated then update all drivers on your mobo. I use to have no sound before with integrated but when i updated all my drivers for my mobo and BIOS the sound came back on.

is there any yellow exclamation in device manager?
check volume control maybe its muted
are you sure you got the cables connected right?
and if its connected to a mini stereo system/reciever/amplifier your sure its set to the right input?
