Sound/Mic problems

ok, im using a Soundblaster X-Fi sound card, and a steelseries 5h v2 headset

every time i open a game, i get a buzzing sound. it sounds like when your standing next to like an electrical tower or something of the sort.

when i talk on vent, my friends can hear the buzzing.

on my video card, theres a couple different settings, u can swap between entertainment mode, game mode, and audio creation mode. when i go to entertainment mode, it mutes my mic, and the sound goes away.

ive messed with a ton of settings and i cant figure out whats causing it ><

You might get some good responses over at Computer Audio & Multimedia - Computer Forums. Lots of sound experts over there. This thread should probably be posted there to help you get what you need.

That is ok, but in the future you may want to post your sound card / multimedia stuff there, because it is more specific and it makes it easier for the admins in the forums to keep things where they belong. You are pretty new, so I am sure you didn't know that.
