sound card probs

just put in a new sound blaster live 24 bit, every thing went fine, but every time i restart it shows new hardware, then says there may have been a prob in the instalation of the hardware,
i ran the diagnostics tool and speaker test, everything seems fine
after i instaled the driver all the speakers played, i restarted, and thats when i saw the new hardware, and hardware probs warnings
when i do a speaker test, they all work, i tried to play a dvd (starwars of course), and just get front speakers, and it was on 5.1

i tried to reinstal,
u should know, im a big rook, and so far got a vid card, and sound in without any big probs, i dont want to press my luck by taking it out again

Did you uninstall from device manager then reinstall it ?

Don't make a new topic for the same problem.

Try going into the "Creative Volume Control" and going to advanced. Then check to see if all of your speakers have their volume maxed out.

i did that, they all work, and i did uninstal from device manager

i looked in the device manager, and there is a pci devise that has a ! over it, it says that is is not recognized.
i guess this means i need to try and reseat the card : (
