Hi, I have installed a new USB Soundcard a Creative Labs Live 24bit External and it works great, however, my onboard soundchip is still functioning, I can not disable it in Bios, The Motherboard detects whether a Soundcard in the PCI slot, then disables it automatically, but as this is a USB Soundcard, it still works, would it pay me to disable this in Devices?, or do I leave it working? If I left it working, could it affect performance etc?

in most mobos is can be disabled from the bios or via an onboard jumper , have a look at the pdf manual
