Sony DRU-510A

I have a Sony DRU-510 external DVD burner and the manual says that it can be used with Apple computers. When I connect the burner and try to burn something it says that it cant do it because the drive is not suported. Does anyone know where I can get drivers for this or is it something else that would be wrong?
