Ok i have been working on this all day to no avail. I got a new sata drive i ghosted the info from my primary drive to the sata, with the option to set drive as primary enabled. I went into my bios and moved the sata drive to the top of the boot list.Still every time i boot it boots to the ide master drive.Is there something i need to do to get it boot from sata, drivers or something????

This is not an area that I am an expert in, but I believe it generates problems if you image an IDE drive to a SATA drive. This issue is discussed in the forum for Acronis True Image and in the Acronis True Image FAQ under the topic of imaging your drive to a system with different hardware. It is recommended to use the microsoft utility Sysprep on the original IDE drive before creating the image. This may be the problem.
